I run accredited training programmes for the development of mentoring/peer mentoring programmes for individuals and organisations.
I am pioneering specialist programmes which include mentoring, coaching and NLP for staff, volunteers and service users within the mental health sector. I currently facilitate programmes in Hertfordshire and Southampton with the following organisations: Guidepost, Mind, Viewpoint, Dens, Business chamber, and CDA.
I have undertaken research on peer mentoring for the University of Hertfordshire Recovery Centre. My peer mentoring scheme includes working with practitioners and co-coordinators to aid the implementation and delivery of effective, sustainable peer mentoring programmes. I enjoy a national remit and offer training, guidance, resources and networking opportunities for anyone involved in the development of peer mentoring. Please contact me for more details.
Over the past two years my Mentoring and Coaching programmes have been piloted within the mental health sector, accredited by ILM (www.i-l-m.com). The purpose of my work is to evaluate the effectiveness of different peer mentoring models in different sectors and to assess the impact that they are having on the people involved. My training programme and style has been described as transformational.
