Leadership Coaching for Individuals and Companies

Are you in a leadership role? Do wish to improve your team’s performance, and need a helping hand to support you along the way. 

I work with individuals and companies offering bespoke leadership coaching programmes. Leadership teams or individuals work with me to overcome development issues in order to meet company objectives. The outcomes from the coaching have a focus on performance, improvement, impact & influence and overall leadership styles.

My coaching capabilities programme is mapped to ILM’s coaching and leadership framework and to the Insights Coaching and Leadership Model (created and published in my book “Understanding Coaching and Mentoring” and referenced by Professor Bob Bates “The University of Birmingham” in two published texts “The Little Big Book of Coaching Models”, & The Little Big Book of Management Theories, Published by Persons).

The coaching programmes facilitate and maximize the leadership development and employer engagement of management teams. The main focus is to work with individuals to increase their leadership styles and create a coaching and leadership culture that permeates throughout the workforce.

The key elements of each programme are outlined as a coaching cluster and have been incorporated into suggested themed subjects below: The themes are suggested and a bespoke programme will be developed around the specific leadership requirements.

You will have access to a range of tools and personality profiling including: Career Audit, Myers Briggs, Enneagram and Leadership or Coaching tools and capabilities

Lead

This theme will invite participants to examine their leadership style, for example, develop their understanding of motivation, leading teams, enhancing delivery of service outcomes and how to “motivate and inspires others”, this is achieved by working through a cycle of coaching and leadership models.

Engage

This theme will invite participants to develop their communication styles, skills and techniques. Individuals will improve their ability to recognise and communicate the positive contribution of others, by enhancing and identifying the team’s roles, skills, responsibilities and accountability. Models to support this are NLP communication, representation and management performance diagnostics.

Change

This theme will invite participants to develop their approach to change management and personal effectiveness, by understanding the principles of impact and influencing. Individuals will create a new postive narrative on improving the dynamics around impact, power, and influence within the business.

Improve

This theme will invite participants to develop their approach to performance management – for example exploring techniques for evidence-based challenges to lead difficult conversations, and create an environment that enables “Innovative Solutions”.

In addition to the coaching themes there will be a focus on EQ “emotional intelligence” an effective personal influencing skill, as this will lead to better personal and organisational results.

The initial session will give individuals or management teams the opportunity to inform the coaching programme.

Required Investment

You can choose to have just one session or a series of sessions, the choice is yours! I do however recommend my 6 month programme as this will bring about incredible results for you on a professional and personal level. The investment is  £800.00 per month for 6 months, a total of £4,800.00 – The sessions are via video conferencing once a week, or we can meet face to face for a full day per month. Team days are priced at £1,000.00 per day with additional costs for travel, accommodation and materials, which is dependent on the leadership package required.

Leadership – Action Learning Coaching ILM Endorsed Programme

ALFA is for you if you are a project manager, leader or involved in learning & development. This programme is ideal if you are required to show a return on investment.

ALFA Level
The programme is set at a senior management level. It is not a requirement that participants have prior higher education qualifications, however, it is expected that participants will be able to work at this level both conceptually and in writing up their assignment. For this reason, the programme is well suited to participants who have completed at least undergraduate studies or professional qualifications related to business or management. This programme has been developed in collaboration between Eileen Hutchinson and Dr Richard Hale.

Aim of the Action Learning Facilitator Accreditation (ALFA) Programme
The programme supports individuals and organisations that are concerned with:

  • Developing leadership capability of the business at all levels
  • Providing opportunities for high potential individuals to realise their potential
  • Providing professional & academic recognition for work-based learning
  • Creating a culture of learning
  • Empowering line managers to take on responsibility for developing others
  • Linking the learning agenda to the business strategy.

How to develop and embed the role of work-based action learning to support personal and organisational development. You will review the Models of “Action Learning Facilitation” the framework to enable participants to identify their development needs as an Action Learning Facilitator.

Coaching and ALFA resources – including key tools & models. 6 months membership to ILM (Institute of leadership & management) with access to online libraries, management journals, and white papers.

Impact and Influence ILM Endorsed Programme

Make the most of your personal impact and influencing abilities and develop the skills to set and achieve personal and professional goals. This ILM endorsed programme concentrates on influencing as a significant leadership skill.

A growing body of psychological and scientific research has shown that ‘emotional intelligence’ (EQ) and effective personal influencing skills can lead to better personal and organisational results. This has led to a growth in literature and training relating to the subject of EQ and associated diagnostics. The programme proposed here is based on the principles of work-based action learning, combining theoretical input with practical tools which can be applied to real work challenges. It is underpinned by sound organisationally based, published research.

The Impact & Influence programme is offered on an in-house basis for senior and middle managers, leaders, and professionals who have to achieve results by influencing others.

The Impact and Influence Programme is designed to help you:

  • Understand your own sources of impact, power, and influence.
  • Apply different influence models
  • In preparing for and tackling real influencing challenges.
  • Gain insight into your own levels of self-confidence in influencing situations.
  • Develop the skills in effective impact and influencing leadership.

Assessing your personality and communication preferences in relation to your current ability to impact and influence others. Explore the verbal and non-verbal components of Impact and Influence. Experiment with a wide continuum of influencing styles in order to significantly expand your ‘Influencing Toolkit’
